When it comes to commissioning bespoke furniture, we embark on a journey with our customers. Many things in life don’t grow on trees, but with wooden furniture it’s a very different story. The process is one of connecting with the raw product and people from which we source our materials from.

This stunning English Pippy Oak was sourced from Vasterns Timber Sawmill in Wiltshire. After a process of selection, the 4m long waney edge boards were roughed out by chainsaw before returning to the workshop to be carefully machined, jointed and finished.

This dining table tells a story both in where it came from, and with the markings of time. Wear and tear from the kids’ craft sessions and raucous gatherings with friends all add to the narrative. Our aim is to make functional furniture that only gets better with age.
